I was inspired today by an Instagram Reel made by my beautiful friend, Libby Ward - Founder of Diary of an Honest Mom. She listed 5 Things that Moms need to hear and they really helped me feel better today. So, here are 5 Things that ADHDers need to hear today…

  1. You’re doing MORE than enough. Oftentimes, ADHDers carry a deep wound of feeling like they’re not doing enough, not being enough. One way to overcome this feeling is to write down all of your accomplishments… whether it’s a list of what you’ve gotten done today, this week, or even in the last year. I promise you that it’s MORE than enough.

  2. Having ADHD can be really, really challenging — but YOU’RE DOING IT! You’ve made it this far and you should be so so so proud of yourself. Take a few seconds today to praise all of your efforts. I know it’s been a rough road.

  3. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to rest!!!

  4. It’s okay to do things differently. Your journey is not going to look like everyone else’s journey. Lean in to those differences and things will slowly fall into place.

  5. Drink some water, okay?
